As we go through our days focused on building our businesses, we have come to mean so much more to each other. Some among us are dealing with issues. Some are hurting. Others are dealing with illness or grappling with the loss of a loved one. Whatever the case, we all need PRAYER at one point or another.

Having lost my sister 17 months ago, it still seems like just yesterday. Ongoing support and prayer is a powerful resource for the grieving process. God dropped it in my spirit to create a special PRAYER page that will be available long after the FB post has disappeared from our timelines. Now that I've finally been obedient, I invite you to view the page (click here) and keep our sisters and brothers in prayer!

Please say an extra special prayer for Earl Ford who lost his son today, Cynthia Robinson & Rochelle Morton both of whom lost their mother this month and Peggy Riggins who is still in the hospital in serious condition. Praise God for his mercy and grace.

Stay Plugged Into The Power Source For 2017!

One Sunday in his usual engaging way, my Pastor spoke to us about staying connected and the possible consequences when we don't. Enthusiastic, prayed up members were most likely found sitting in the front of the church. When they moved to the middle pews, it was a sign that their enthusiasm was beginning to wain. And by the time they were sitting in the back of the church, Pastor knew he had to reach out to them before they were out the door altogether. That's why he admonished us to "stay plugged into the power source." Stay close to the church, on your knees in prayer and study the word for yourself. These were the ways to stay nourished, fortified and encouraged on the challenging journey of spiritual growth. Unplug and your power would dim and eventually go out.

Now, this business is by no means as significant as our spiritual salvation. But, in a practical sense, I think the lesson applies to everything that we do. If we want to do something well, we have to be curious and passionate about continuously studying and learning more. Plus, staying connected and sharing the journey with like-minded individuals can be extremely empowering and encouraging along the way.

I never wanted any member of our community to be able to say they didn't have support if they actually wanted it. And today, one of the things I am most proud of as the leader of Team Anew is our track record of support, training, resources and availability over the last 8.5 years which includes:
